Marissa W.

Dear Athena,
I have a problem. And I would like to have your advice. That would be great. So I have this problem, and its kind a of a big one. I’m playing this part, and it’s a girl part. But one short problem, my voice cracked and I am starting to grow a beard. I am playing a girl part and I can’t play the girl part if my voice has cracked and I am starting to grow a beard.
So I would like to have advice. Should I still play the part even though I am starting to grow a beard and my voice has now cracked? The audience still has to no that im a girl and not a guy. That would be bad if they knew that I was a guy and not a girl.

I don’t want to shave off my beard because then I would not be manly anymore. And it has took me years to just grow a beard, and my voice has now cracked. So should I just shave off my beard so I could play the part, or should I not shave it off and not play the part. I think I should just shave off my beard and do the part because I really want to do the part, it will just take me a couple of more years to grow another beard. But I would still like for you to give me your advice.
